Beach Engagement Photos in Tamarindo, Costa Rica || Sarah + Ian:

On top of Sassafras Mountain, the highest peak in South Carolina, Ian dropped to one knee and asked Sarah to spend forever with him. Sharing a love of hiking with their dogs, it was the perfect place for Sarah and Ian to start their next chapter in life. Sarah was completely surprised and she joyfully said yes. Initially meeting in middle school, Sarah and Ian became friends through their church. Over ten years, Sarah and Ian became really good friends – best friends to be exact – and on Ian’s 21st birthday, they became a couple. It just felt right – it was perfect. Fast forward to their engagement, what better way to celebrate than a vacation to Costa Rica to visit Sarah’s grandfather? A frequent visitor to Costa Rica and In love with the country’s magical beauty, Sarah knew that Costa Rica was the perfect place for their engagement photos. And thanks to a recommendation from a mutual friend, Sarah and I connected to plan a magical afternoon for Sarah and Ian’s beach engagement photos in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.

Sarah was a gypsy goddess vision in an off-white, flowing Free People dress. Despite Sarah’s makeup being stolen the night before her engagement photos, Sarah didn’t let this setback damper her mood. In fact, Sarah simply radiated with joy. The sweet love that surrounded Sarah and Ian was magical. The couple explored the low tide rocks and Sarah had a blast as Ian gave his girl a piggy back ride. To top off a gorgeous, golden afternoon, Sarah and Ian made their way to the point in Tamarindo to watch the sun pass over the horizon. And as the sky turned an intense shade of orange, Sarah nuzzled into Ian’s embrace.
