Beach Wedding in Tamarindo Costa Rica at Pangas Beach Club || Rhiannon + Calvin:
The forecast may have said 99% chance of rain everyday during Rhiannon and Calvin’s week of festivities for their beach wedding in Tamarindo Costa Rica at Pangas Beach Club, but Rhiannon wasn’t worried. She knew the weather was going to be nothing short of beautiful, especially on her wedding day. How you may ask? She manifested it. Can I get a heck yea?!?!!!
But let’s take it back this story back a bit…Calvin and Rhiannon met through a mutual friend in passing a little over four years ago on the Santa Monica Pier. Rhiannon was with her mother and grandmother, so Calvin was able to meet the family right off the bat! No pressure Calvin, right?! Two weeks later they went on their first date back where they first met, bike riding on the pier. What was supposed to be a two hour date turned into a twelve hour date full of fun and laughter! The rest is history.
And that first date was the start to an adventure which would turn into a relationship full of non stop adventure. The couple has been on countless trips, including kayaking in Panama, drinking champagne at the Eiffel Tower, bike riding through Poland, watching sunsets in Santorini, and getting engaged in Berlin, Germany!
With their love for travel, having a destination wedding in Costa Rica was a no brainer. Two years ago, Rhiannon and Calvin had the most romantic and delicious dinner under a gorgeous tree on the beach at Pangas Beach Club in Tamarindo. They knew that was where they were meant to exchange their vows. And with their closest family and friends, traveling from the East and West Coast, in total Rhiannon and Calvin style, the couple extended their wedding celebration into a week of fun filled activities, from beach hopping to sunset sailing. It couldn’t have been a more perfect week, with the icing on the doughnut-wedding cake one beautiful, heck of a fun wedding!!!
Where do we even start? The love surrounding Rhiannon and Calvin, not only between the couple, but from their family and friends, was palpable. So, sooooo much joy and happiness!!! The weather was rainy season perfect, with a refreshing breeze and pretty clouds to set the stage for a magical sunset. Rhiannon wore a perfect Tara Lauren wedding dress for a destination wedding in Costa Rica, and Calvin rocked a custom made jacket by Indochino. Rhiannon’s friend acoustically played Fleetwood Mac’s “Rhiannon” and the toasts…the toasts were so heartfelt, with lots of laughs and definitely some tears…especially from Richie, the bride’s brother! Zach at DJ Guana kept the party dancing all night, from napkin dropping dance moves, a surprise carnival band, all the way to the guys taking their shirts off!! Oh, and the doughnuts…I may have needed to try them all just to make sure they were edible 😉
Rhiannon + Calvin, may you two continue to grow together, putting deposits into your beautiful relationship — here’s to many more adventures you two! Felicidades!!!
