The majority of family vacations in Costa Rica typically are for one week. But, there is so much to do and see in Pura Vidadise that the time goes by so fast. My first week long trip to Costa Rica, I definitely felt like I didn’t have enough time, so my second trip I booked for 10 days. And then my third trip…well I ended up packing up my NYC apartment and hopped a flight to Costa Rica for however long I wanted to!!!
The month of November by far is my favorite month in Costa Rica. The earth is super lush and green from six months of rainy season and the temperatures “cooler”, but with the beautiful weather of dry season. And having been away from Pura Vidadise for 8 months thanks to the ‘Rona, it felt good to arrive back during my favorite month. And to top that off, what better way to get back into the photography swing than with some of the most fun clients?!
One of the things I love the most about being a photographer in Savannah, Georgia is that there is so many different, beautiful places to photograph. You can go from historic downtown Savannah, the beach on Tybee Island, majestic Oak lined nature trails, to picturesque marsh views. No wonder the Daughtrey Family had a hard time picking…
One of my favorite things about the Cohen Family is that they are always up to change it up and take their family photos in different locations every year. That and the fact that Senorita Grace and her big brother Cole are a riot, always making everyone around them laugh!
Thanks to some magical luck from Mother Nature and an afternoon spent scouting, I couldn’t have picked a better spot for sunset family photos in Sebastian Inlet, Florida. That AND putting my foot down to tell my brother…
For the past couple of years, I have had the pleasure to photograph the Bowen family’s holiday family photos. So this year when mom Melissa and I were planning their holiday photo session, she suggested doing boat family photos in Savannah Georgia. My immediate answer was yes and yessssss!
Three years ago I first captured the Finland family, with little Luke and Kate playing tag in the early morning light under dreamy Oak trees. And since then, every year I’ve had the honor to photograph Luke and Kate, capturing them as they grow oh-so-fast!
Fall weather in Savannah usually doesn’t typically start until October…maybe November. Except for in a crazy year like 2020, with abnormal weather! Just like that, with a flip of a switch…
With COVID keeping us staying safely at home, what better thing to do than get a new puppy while you’re staying at home…especially when it’s for your fifth birthday?! That’s just what the Kang Family did last month, welcoming home their adorable new Labrodoodle puppy Beau!
There’s always a chance of rain in the afternoon in the South from June to September…hello hot and humid weather creating popup thunderstorms! So you can imagine how interesting it is trying to schedule photo sessions in the late afternoon in Savannah in the summer — you want to take advantage of the late afternoon’s soft lighting, but you also..
I would love to hear what photographic ideas you have cooking, whether it be playing on the beach with your family, wandering the Spanish Moss squares in Savannah, hiking up to a beautiful waterfall, or capturing the intimate love at your wedding. I know there are countless other awesome photographers to choose from, so how about we grab a cup of delicious Costa Rican coffee and get to know each other?
