Brunch at Pangas Beach Club – Saul’s Baptism:
Oh-my-word, I don’t think little Saul could be a cuter baby! Dressed in an adorable white baby romper for his baptism and sporting some pretty cool Converses, Saul was the happiest baby during his baptism at Santa Maria Church in Tamarindo last week. According to Saul’s dad Frank, Saul loves water and it totally showed as this little guy was all smiles and laughs as the pastor baptized him, washing his head with water.
Following Saul’s baptism, his parents Frank and Mari celebrated this little guy’s big day over a delicious brunch with family and friends at Pangas Beach Club on the beach in Tamarindo. And a delicious brunch it was, with fresh pineapple, mango, papaya, a delicious chicken salad, and holy smokes the french toast was AMAZING! Dusted with coconut flakes, I think it may have been the best french toast I have ever had, and as a former New Yorker I have some high standards for brunch!
During the brunch I snuck away Saul, Frank, and Mari for some photos under one of Pangas’ beautiful trees. Saul loved being thrown in the air by his dad (or in Frank’s words, “chuck him in the air”), giggling the whole time. And, oh-my-word, the way Saul looks at his mom Mari when she sings to him – – his whole face just lights up! Such a happy, happy baby! In fact, not once during the day did I see Saul cry. The little guy almost made it to the very end of his Baptism brunch, but with a little help from his dad’s loving touch and rocking, he fell right asleep in his dad’s arms.
¡Feliz Bautismo Saul! You are so darn cute – – and you look so much like your awesome dad, facial expressions and all!
XOXO,
Kristen
