Cala Luna Boutique Hotel Costa Rica –
Secret pathways amidst jungle gardens, Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villas is an oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Costa Rica’s second largest beach town, Tamarindo. With an uber friendly staff, relaxing accommodations, locally sourced cuisine, beautiful pool, and a secluded beach to watch the gorgeous Tamarindo sunsets, Cala Luna is one of my favorite “secret spots” to photograph in Tamarindo, from weddings to lifestyle sessions. It is one of the few hotels in Tamarindo that I recommend to my family and friends.
Did I mention that Cala Luna also has a Champagne “ladies” night every Friday with live music? Vacationers and locals alike love to mingle around Cala Luna’s pool side bar. Friday nights at Cala Luna is also my excuse to change out of my surf bikini, put on a pair of heels, and dress up a tad bit!
To top it all off, the family that built Cala Luna twenty years ago stills owns and operates this beautiful boutique hotel. They go above and beyond to make sure every guest enjoys their stay, which trickles down to their amazing staff. And they are also beautiful surfers, except for when Antonio and I like to compete at who can drop in on who more!
