I work with you to make this process smooth, efficient, and fun. After a quick chat about your favorite images in the gallery, your home decor, wall space, as well as potential gift ideas for family members (parents and grandparents LOVE prints and albums!), I’ll suggest the best printing options that works best for your family & home.

From there, all you need to do is approve and/or make minimal changes, and then we can submit your order (including using your $100 print gift card) to get your wedding photos printed.

In other words, there is no need to use your precious time to navigate this printing process yourself, only to delay months (or years) to finally get your wedding photos printed, because I’m here for you to make sure you do!

10+ ago I retired from the hustle and bustle of the NYC corporate banking world, trading in my heels for a surfboard and camera in Costa Rica. My photography work has been featured & published internationally in Harper’s Bazaar, Coastal Living, American Express, and Real Simple, to name a few (eek!).

I love dancing with waves, chasing sunsets, beach strolls with my sassy pants Chihuahua named Gidget, laughing my butt off, and giving you one heck of a fun wedding day photo experience.

To book your wedding session I require a $750 non-refundable deposit (as once you book, I’m turning away other clients in order to serve you on your date) and a signed photography agreement, both of which can be easily completed electronically.

“As a wedding photographer myself, my photos were the most important part of my wedding. After looking at different vendors I quickly chose Samba to the Sea. I loved her style and her brand. She does a fantastic job of promoting herself and her brand so that she doesn’t feel like a stranger on your wedding day. One thing many couples don’t realize is that your wedding photographer spends the entire day with you. Having a connection with your photographer really makes a difference. It makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera (which as a person who’s always behind the lens is difficult to do). When we got to our location the for the rehearsal, Kristen was doing a shoot out on the beach with a family. I knew it was her even though we never met in person. I waved at her and she waved us over. She actually took some quick pictures of us with the most beautiful sunset behind us (just incase we didn’t have that beautiful of a sunset the next day for our wedding). Her style is clean, but still colorful. My guests just keep saying how she nailed the colors. She made it magical! She was organized, fun, and up for anything! And let’s not forget how was able to wrangle 20 (drunk) people for one huge picture on the beach (which is a lot harder than it sounds). A day after the wedding I had two pictures already as a preview. I got the rest of the photos in under a week after my wedding. That was unexpected and A TON OF WORK! I couldn’t love them more. I now have so many beautiful photos to share with family and friends that couldn’t make it. Kristen’s photos tell a story.
