It all started with their first date to Comicon. Adrienne + Matt just clicked. Fast forward to early March 2020, the couple decided to have an intimate destination wedding in Playa Avellanas Costa Rica. Except Covid had other plans. A month before their originally scheduled January 2021 wedding date, Adrienne + Matt made the hard decision to postpone their wedding until it was safer for their family and friends to gather to celebrate.

Ten Months later, down a hidden beach path amongst their closest family, friends, and a local fisherman in the distance, Adrienne + Matt got to say “As you wish” — a nod to Princess Bride -to officially tie the knot. Their family sang a parody to the Beach Boy’s  “God Only Knows”, with lyrics “Adrienne sneezes in threes”, and “Matt finally cut his hair!” The couple toasted with Coco Locos before enjoying their first sunset officially as “Madrieenne”, husband and wife. Back at Driftaway Eco Lodge, the group enjoyed a delicious multi course dinner by Chef Jean Luc of Sunset Catering (oh-my-word those tacos!!!), and Matt’s heartfelt toast left everyone in tears and laughter!
