Elope in Tamarindo Costa Rica – Devan + Jim:
As a single mom with two sons, Devan was very busy and involved in her boys’ school and their activities. But between their activities and her work, she just wasn’t meeting her ‘Mr. Right’ , so she decided to give Math.com a try. It only took two-and-a-half weeks for Devan to cancel her year membership to Match.com. In those quick two-and-a-half weeks, Devan was already smitten with another Match.com member, Jim. From their very first conversation, they just clicked. Jim even has two boys as well – – making for a total of four boys! Fast forward almost two years later that fateful Math.com ‘match’, Devan and Jim decided to elope in Tamarindo Costa Rica to intimately start their next love chapter as husband and wife.
Even though Devan and Jim’s Costa Rica elopement was in the heart of rainy season, the rain paused for just enough time time last week for this couple to exchange their vows on the beach in Tamarindo. Wearing sandals that Devan’s mom helped to bedazzle for her walk down the aisle, Devan radiated with pure joy.
During the ceremony Jim frequently glanced at his beautiful bride, his smile telling it all, his love for Devan. As soon as they took their first kiss as husband and wife, the rain started up again; the light drizzle turned into heavy rain drops as things started to heat up between this beautiful couple.
But Devan and Jim just took what Mother Nature was giving them – – nothing, not even a Costa Rican thunderstorm, could put a damper on their elopement. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better couple to brave the rain. The harder it rained, the more they smiled and snuggled up to one another! To say the least, Devan and Jim were naturals in front of the camera – – my photographer heart started swooning as they naturally nuzzled their foreheads together, their smiles lighting up the grey afternoon.
Devan + Jim, the love that surrounds you two radiates and was so beautiful to photograph! From the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for lighting up the world around you!
