Engagement Photos at JW Marriott Guanacaste, Costa Rica – Erin + Lee:
One fateful snow storm back in college and six years of dating later, Erin and Lee figured, “Might as well.” Well, to be a lil’ bit more accurate, Erin + Lee’s families and friends kept asking them when they were going to get married. So why not? With six years of dating, Erin and Lee already have their groove as a couple. Lee knows exactly what to say (or do!) to make Erin burst out in laughter. And Erin loves to joke around right back with Lee. Joke around as in, “Oh sorry, that was my hand hitting your face.” Erin + Lee’s playfulness and penchant to joke around certainly kept me on my toes photographing these two during their engagement photos at the JW Marriott in Guanacaste, Costa Rica this past week.
Not-so-fortunately enough, Erin + Lee had to cancel their initial vacation to Costa Rica back in April. Fortunately enough, for Erin + Lee’s rescheduled trip in May our dates synced and I had the pleasure to photograph these two. And their hotel, the JW Marriott in Guanacaste, was a perfect location for their engagement photos. From Spanish colonial architecture, gorgeous courtyards, relaxing hammocks, to the pristine beach, we spent the late afternoon wandering around. And as luck would have it, we beat out the rain not only earlier in the day, but minutes before their engagement session ended.
