Family Photography in Isle of Hope, GA || Solana Family:
What better way to spend one of the last afternoons of 2016 than with a sword – light saver fight duel with your mom? How about a surprise duel with your grandfather, who just so happened to be driving by while dueling with your mom? Better yet, what if a photographer was there to witness and capture both of your sword fight wins? All hail to Captain Jack, the bravest (and most handsome) four year old sword fighting champion of the Solana Family!
After dueling to the “death”, Jack, his mom Nancy, and his grandfather, GPop, enjoyed a beautiful southern winter afternoon walking on the Bluff and exploring the Isle of Hope Marina. Not only was it fortuitous that GPop just so happened to drive through the Bluff as the Solana’s and I were starting their family photos, but also he was our secret key to open the marina gate. I promise, no laws were broken – – GPop, an Isle of Hope native, just so happens to know the right people at the marina. Plus, he’s been “hopping the gate since he was in diapers!”
Throughout the afternoon, Jack and his bundle of energy kept us all entertained. Even after two sword fights, running up and down the Bluff, exploring the boats at the Marina, climbing trees, playing with (super cute) dog Henry, and helping me to take photos of his mom, Jack was ready to go for his next adventure – – another sword fight back at GPop’s house! Nancy, I totally agree, if you could bottle up this energizer bunny’s energy and sell it, you’d make a killing!
But, if you can’t bottle up his energy, how about bottling up his cuteness?! Isn’t Jack so handsome? I have a feeling this kid is gonna have the girls running after him!

P.S. Seriously, I’m ever so thankful that GPop just so happened to be driving through the Bluff and just so happens to know all the right people in IOH! And to top that off, GPop’s outfit coordinated so well with his daughter Nancy and grandson Jack – – fashion obviously runs in the Solana Family genes!
