Family Photos in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica || Anderson Family:

Costa Rica has such diverse ecosystems and biodiversity that within a couple hours drive, you can go from the beach to one of Costa Rica’s still active volcanoes. From cloud forest, volcanoes, tropical rainforests, nearly 300 beaches, Pacific to Caribbean, there is no shortage of things to do and places to see in this country. On their spring break vacation, the Anderson family sure took advantage of exploring Costa Rica from the rainforest, volcanoes, and to the beaches.

Starting in La Fortuna, the family loved the lush cloud forest. They spent the first couple days of their trip zip lining, horseback riding, and exploring the cloud forest. As a trip to Costa Rica is not complete without visiting the beach, Lorien, John, Belle, Nathan, and Max made their way to beautiful Playa Hermosa for the last couple days of their Costa Rica vacation. To say the least, this family loves to explore — they were game to take the Monkey Trail, a shortcut, bumpy dirt backroad that leaves most people’s nerves somewhat rattled! The trip on the Monkey Trail was well worth it, as one of the highlights of the Anderson’s trip was snorkeling at Playa Conchal (despite the tad chilly waters due to the seasonal high winds)!

On their last full day in Costa Rica, I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing this adventurous family on the beach at Playa Hermosa. Nathan and Max enjoyed throwing the football on the beach while I photographed Lorien and John. The Anderson’s loved playing and holding Gidget as they have their very own Chihuahua named Roxy (AKA Foxy Lady!) back home in Texas. This family sure knows how to have a good time and laugh – – I loved catching them in those funny moments as they goofed off with each other! And when they were not goofing off or having fun, this photogenic family radiated in their photos. The gorgeous women, Belle and her mother Lorien, oh-so-naturally turned family photos into a magazine shoot!
