Family Photos in Savannah – Whalen Family:
Golden hour in Savannah is just that much more magical with majestic Oaks, glowing Spanish moss, and the beautiful bond of three sisters. Originally from Virginia, the Whalen’s moved to Savannah last year. Living in a new place, the Whalens wanted to do their family photos outside on Skidaway Island amongst the Oak trees and marshes to show their family and friends the beauty of their new home.
However, Hurricane Mathew had other plans. In a quick drive bye, Hurricane Mathew’s high winds caused major tree destruction in Savannah last October — and postponing the Whalen family’s plan for family photos amongst the majestic Oaks. But sometimes postponing is a benefit in disguise, as the Whalens could not have been blessed with a more gorgeous afternoon for family photos this year.
As the sun started to drop, the Spanish moss started to glow, creating the most magical setting for the Whalen sisters and their 10 month old puppy, Sanibel. Sarah, Catherine, and Caroline had blast showing off Sani’s tricks — full face licks included! So much happiness radiates from this family! Carrie, James, Sarah, Caroline, and Katherine thank your for spending such a beautiful afternoon with me — especially for leaving lacrosse practice early!
