Family Weekend Getaway at the Andaz Papagayo, Costa Rica || Yang Family:
When your family lives in California and your brother’s family lives across the United States in Pennsylvania, what better place to meet halfway for a mini family reunion than a tropical paradise? Escaping the winter cold (OK, only Charley and his family were escaping winter!), Jessica and her brother decided on a family weekend getaway at the Andaz Papagayo in Costa Rica. The families spent the weekend catching up and relaxing poolside at the Andaz’s spectacular pools. Jessica’s young sons, Olin and Aiden, had a blast playing in the kid’s club at the Andaz, and their baby cousin Olivia, loved floating in the pool in her flamingo pool float. On the last night of their weekend mini vacation in Costa Rica, the whole family loved exploring the white sand beach at the Andaz while taking family photos, a perfect vacation souvenir.
Señorita Olivia rocked the cutest sunglasses (how adorable is she?!) with a floral onesie and was full of smiles the whole afternoon. It was her first time at the beach and she dove right into her first taste of sand, despite the sage warnings from her mom and dad! She gave a wry grin to her father as she slowly scooped up some sand in her little hands and tried her sandy snack. As for Olin and Aiden, they had a blast running up and down the tranquil shores, splashing in the water with their mom, and getting piggy back rides from their dad! They were ever-so-handsome with their palm tree and dinosaur print shirts.
To top off their afternoon, Jessica grabbed her Fuji Instax camera to capture some extra special vacation souvenirs. I have a feeling that Jessica, Charley, and their families will be coming back to Costa Rica oh-so-soon, but next time for a longer vacation!
