Golden Hour Beach Engagement Photos in Costa Rica || Katie + Tyler:
Before Tyler left for Costa Rica with his girlfriend Katie, he secretly met with Katie’s dad to ask his permission to marry Katie. Katie and Tyler had talked about marriage and Katie had even picked out a ring with Tyler, but as Tyler dropped to one knee on the first day of their Costa Rican vacation, Katie was completely surprised. On a balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Playa Hermosa, Katie happily said yes to her high school sweetheart. It couldn’t have been more perfect. It was simply magical. And as luck would have it, Katie and Tyler already had booked a lifestyle photo session back in September with yours truly, so when Katie and I chatted the day before their scheduled session, I couldn’t have been more stoked to photograph their engagement photos on the beach in Costa Rica.
Throughout the whole engagement session, Katie simply radiated with happiness and Tyler kept Katie laughing the whole time with sweet jokes. The afternoon was just perfect and oh-so-magical for golden hour beach engagement photos in Costa Rica. The wind wisped through Katie’s gorgeous long brown hair and danced with her gorgeous white dress. And y’all, Katie’s GORGEOUS engagement ring glistened in the afternoon sun. (Tyler, you did good!) The couple enjoyed the afternoon exploring the low tide rocks on Playa Hermosa and toasted to their next chapter with a bottle of champagne. To top off a gorgeous afternoon, Mother Nature celebrated the newly engaged couple with a breathtaking sunset.
