Some people drink beers at sunset; I prefer to take in the vitamin D and chase the sunset with my camera. How about that for a happy hour special? A year and a half ago I decided to bring my photographs to life with Samba to the Sea Designs, postcards printed [on 100% recycled paper] with my sunset beauties. Soon after I expanded to notecards and mini cards, and recently launched a line of accent pillows with The Beach Bazaar. As I like to say, “Spread the beauty of Mother Nature one card (or pillow) at a time.”
5,000 cards later, and long overdue, I took some time this week to do a product shoot. I know, y’all are probably thinking how I kept pushing this off. Ok, here is the excuse list: yoga teacher training, my brother’s wedding in Brazil (and in Savannah), quick jaunt in Peru, elopement shoot, the holidays, adopting a puppy AND kitten, sewing for The Beach Bazaar, AND a couple fun surf sessions on my new surfboard. Yep, excuses, excuses…better late then never, right??
NOPE.
Seriously, no more excuses. I finally can check this task off my list and chip away at all those other to-do’s…like updating my Etsy shop with these oh-so-pretty photos.
