Birthday Photos at Llanos de Cortes Waterfall || Aaliyah:
Costa Rica is a pretty awesome place to visit. Pristine beaches, active volcanoes, beautiful waves, amazing wildlife (monkeys, iguanas, sloths and toucans to name a few), and of course my favorite, magical sunsets. So when Aaliyah was deciding on where she wanted to celebrate her birthday this year, Costa Rica was an easy choice. After booking her trip, she got to thinking — what better way to kick off another year around the sun than a birthday photo shoot at one of Costa Rica’s majestic waterfalls? And from the moment Aaliyah emailed me with her birthday idea, I just knew photos at Llanos de Cortes waterfall would be the perfect location.
Fast forward several weeks and countless diligent workouts later, simply put, Aaliyah rocked her photo shoot. Wearing an army green one piece by BFYNE, she looked like Jane of the Costa Rican jungle. Am I right or am I right?! And let’s talk about her long sleeve BFYNE white one piece — it was as she was the goddess of the waterfall. So FIERCE. Would you believe it if I told you that Aaliyah had “zero modeling experience” (in Aaliyah’s own words) before these photos at Llanos de Cortes?!?! Seriously, this girl just knocked it out of the park, listening to my posing instructions and adjustments, and then turning it up a notch. Oh, and one more thing, not only is Aaliyah one gorgeous woman, radiating beauty from the inside out, she also serves in the US Army — let’s give this soldier a huge thank you for her service!!!
