Playa Flamingo Costa Rica Photographer || Cheryce + Lisandro:
On one fateful day six years ago Cheryce and Lisandro met at Home Depot. Yes, you read that correctly (and no my iPhone didn’t autocorrect with a funny typo)…the awesome home improvement store, Home Depot! Cheryce just so happened to be at Home Depot with her mom, and her mother insisted that Cheryce and Lisandro exchange phone numbers. A year went by and neither of the two of them called each other. And that’s when Cheryce’s mom played matchmaker once again when she ran into Lisandro a year later, this time telling him to call Cheryce. You know how Mothers are — when they tell you to do something, you best be do what she says!
Fast forward six years later, Cheryce and Lisandro decided to take advantage of their vacation in Costa Rica and elope. Except for the busyness of life got in their way, leaving them no time to plan an elopement in Costa Rica, so they decided to let it naturally happen during their trip. So off they went on their Costa Rica vacation, venturing in the rainforest in La Fortuna before making their way to the beach in Playa Flamingo in Guanacaste. On their way to the Flamingo beach, Cheryce + Lisandro decided to see if they could find a Playa Flamingo Costa Rica photographer for the following day. And as luck would have it, I fortunately was available and their elopement naturally started to fall into place.
With their Playa Flamingo Costa Rica photographer booked, flowers ordered, and hair and makeup appointed scheduled, now all Cheryce + Lisandro needed was for the weather to cooperate the following day. But at 3PM, Mother Nature had other plans; the sky opened up and the rain came down. Fortunately enough, Cheryce + Lissandro were staying at a stunning Playa Flamingo ocean view rental, Villa Fugata, with a covered deck to protect us from the rain. As we started their elopement photos, the rain started to taper off, allowing us to finish on the beach in Playa Flamingo. Congrats you two!
