Playa Langosta Costa Rica Wedding: Keeley + Steve –

North Carolina girl meets Southern California boy. A couple of years ago Keeley and Steve met through work. Last week, the laws of attraction brought these two forces of nature together to say their “forevers” at their Playa Langosta Costa Rica wedding. Family and friends flew from near and far to help celebrate this amazing couple during the week long festivities at Casa Cristal. The rain clouds held off for their sunset beach ceremony, and as Keeley and Steve were exchanging their vows the sun peeked through the clouds. So very fitting for this couple – Keeley, the calm and eye of the storm, and Steve, the hurricane.

From the moment I arrived at Casa Cristal to photograph the ever-so-stunning Keeley getting ready, I received such warm welcomes from this couple’s family and friends. Keeley had an awesome team of friends helping her get ready, from hair & makeup, painting her nails, to putting on her beautiful wedding dress. Keeley’s mom and soon to be mother-in-law teamed up to help put on a stunning gold and diamond heart necklace passed down from Keeley’s grandmother, her something borrowed. Ironically enough, Keeley’s wedding date was also her grandmother’s birthday. How special is that?

In true forces of nature fashion, Keeley and Steve decided to plan their Costa Rica destination wedding themselves. They utilized Señor Google and the Tamarindo local phonebook to find local vendors, including yours truly, as well as utilized Keeley’s creativity for all the small details, like hand stamped “Pura Vida” keychain wedding favors and custom necklaces for her bridesmaids. Ever-so-perfect, Keeley walked down the sandy aisle to “Here Comes the Sun”. And to top it all off, their good friend Sean officiated the ceremony. He added the perfect touch of humor, personalization, sincerity, and calm to guide Keeley and Steve to their I-Dos. As Keeley and Steve kissed for the first time as husband and wife, their friends and family cheered, accompanying the song of “Better Together”. Swoon… .

After the beautiful ceremony on Playa Langosta, the wedding party enjoyed an amazing dinner prepared by Shlomy, a Cordon Bleu trained chef, at his restaurant Season’s. To top it all off, after dinner the crew headed back to Casa Cristal in Playa Langosta to party the night away, DJed by DJ Guana, mi amigo Zach Schmidt.
