Lifestyle Portraits in Costa Rica – Jackie:
Y’all, meet Jackie. Jackie is one of those people that you instantly are drawn to. She has this aura of happiness that invites you to be her friend immediately. Seriously, the joy and positivity that surrounds Jackie is contagious. I first met this gorgeous blonde earlier this year, but it seems like I have known Jackie for years. In fact, within a week of meeting Jackie, she invited me to interview for an online publication she freelance writes for, InternationalLiving.com, getting all the details on my move to Tamarindo, Costa Rica and my postcard business. Instead of sitting down and chatting over a cup of Costa Rican coffee, I suggested we do the interview in my workspace, at the beach in Tamarindo during sunset. What better way to learn more about me than in my outdoor office, chasing sunsets?
Since that first interview, Jackie has picked my photographer brain a couple of times, so it only seems fitting that I got to turn the tables on her last week for some portraits of this gorgeous woman. And interestingly enough, I am writing about Jackie as well…so Jackie, please pardon any grammatical errors!!
In the midst of rainy season in Tamarindo, Jackie and I were ever-so-lucky to be blessed with gorgeous, golden afternoon sunlight. During rainy season, I cross all my fingers and toes for the rain to hold off during any of my scheduled photo shoots, so any golden light vs overcast skies is icing on the cake! Seriously, I think I kept Jackie laughing the whole time during our mini photo shoot because I was so giddy about the light AND having blonde bombshell to photograph!
