Proposal at Pangas Beach Club in Tamarindo, Costa Rica: Leila + Milver –

Former coworkers, Leila and Milver kept in touch after Leila changed employers two years ago and soon after, the #superfriends started dating. They both love to travel (‪gotta love their hashtag #‎leilverstravels‬ !), explore new places, and after hearing so many great things about Costa Rica, Leila and Milver decided to check out this beautiful country last week. And what better way to kickoff your vacation in Costa Rica with your best friend and love of your life than to propose to her on the beach at sunset?

Milver and Leila began their Costa Rican vacation in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, opting to take advantage of an awesome apartment listed on AirBnB, Casa Colonial vs staying at a traditional hotel. Besides the beautiful ocean view at Casa Colonial, the awesome hospitality, as well as the three super friendly resident doggies, Milver and Leila took full advantage of the local Tamarindo knowledge provided by Casa Colonial’s owners, Steve and Sarita. Local knowledge as in a beautiful place to propose in Tamarindo and a photographer to capture the moment – Pangas Beach Club and yours truly, Samba to the Sea Photography.

Last week, amidst a stunning setting sun in Tamarindo beachfront at Pangas, Milver dropped to one knee and asked Leila to spend the rest of her life with him. Milver had rehearsed what he wanted to say to his soul mate, “You are my best friend, I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” As Leila said “yes”, there were cheers from the other clients and restaurant staff of Pangas. To say the least, Leila was totally surprised! And ladies and gentleman, the ring that Milver picked out is BEYOND gorgeous!!
