Romantic Proposal in Costa Rica – Mike + Tina:
As the sun glistened through the clouds and the tall grass swayed in the breeze, Mike dropped to one knee and asked Tina to spend the rest of their lives together. Tina was completely surprised, shedding tears of joy. It couldn’t have been a more perfect, romantic proposal in Costa Rica. It was simply magical.
I couldn’t have been more excited to hide in the swaying tall grass to capture this beautiful moment on a golden afternoon in Tamarindo. Mike and I had been planning the proposal details for over a month. He wanted to make sure the proposal was done at the perfect time and at a private, romantic location during his surf vacation at Witch’s Rock Surf Camp.
Congrats you two!
(Ironically enough, even with all the planning between Mike, Julie at Witch’s Rock, and myself, leave it to the taxi driver to initially take Mike and Tina to the wrong location! Thankfully, Mike and Tina were only ten minutes late, arriving just as the afternoon light started to become golden. And my Chihuahua Gidget was the perfect disguise for me to go photographer incognito — Gidget and I simply were on an afternoon hike!)
