How do you pull off a surprise proposal to someone who is impossible to surprise? You get your whole friend group involved, especially the master planner of the friend group!

Rachel first contacted me months before their friend group vacation in Costa Rica. As the planner of the group, she was the liaison between myself and Benny, to make sure that girlfriend Laura didn’t accidentally come across any surprise proposal communication. With the disguise that the friend group had planned a photo session during their trip in Tamarindo, we were all set for one heck of a surprise. Especially because Laura was “not a fan of photos,” so much so the whole day leading up to their sunset photo session she kept asking her friends if they really had to do this photo session.

Well, you’re probably thinking why plan a photo session if Laura is not a “fan of photos”? Because Benny knew that with the right photographer, Laura would be over the moon ecstatic that the moment was captured. Enter yours truly. ☺️  Needless to say, it was one heck of a surprise proposal on the beach in Costa Rica and we’ll let these dreamy proposal and engagement photos in Tamarindo speak for themselves!
