Tamarindo, Costa Rica –
T H A N K F U L. The last time my family was together for Thanksgiving was five years ago. FIVE! So when my brother decided back in May that the family should pack up the bags, with a checked bag containing a frozen turkey, and visit me in Tamarindo for Thanksgiving, I was beyond excited. Turkey and family on Thanksgiving – priceless.
In between taking detours down unpaved roads to Rincon de la Vieja volcano, zip lining, and giving surf lessons to my sister-in-law, I ever so kindly asked them to wake up at the crack of dawn so that I could photograph them in the gorgeous morning light. That’s true family love. Plus the last time my parents had nice photos taken of them might have been over ten years ago. Good thing their daughter is handy with a camera!
It sure was awesome having them here in Tamarindo, Costa Rica for Thanksgiving. Gracias.
