Almost two years ago Marie-Soleil and Carlos visited Tamarindo and fell in love with the laid back lifestyle and beauty of Costa Rica. So one night a couple of months ago back in Montreal, over pizza and wine at home, the couple decided why not?! Why not get married in Costa Rica? An Tamarindo Costa Rica Elopement at Pangas Beach Club was perfect for them — no big wedding or the stress of planning, just the two of them intimately celebrating their love for one another.
So when Marie-Soleil emailed me describing her intimate elopement vision AND that they loved sunsets and VW buses, I knew photographing their elopement was going to be just pure magic!!! And they say great minds think alike, because as it just so happened, I met Marie-Soleil and Carlos the day before their elopement enjoying the pool at my apartment complex. Ana Castro-Calzada led a beautiful spiritual ceremony under the majestic tree at Pangas Beach Club. The decor was simple and intimate, a turquoise vintage Kilim rug, vibrant magenta Bougainvillea, and beautiful cacti plants.
