Tamarindo, Costa Rica Interior Photography – Casa del Pasillo –
Nothing can quite compare to a happy client, except maybe and even happier parent of that client. A couple of months ago, in the heart of rainy season here in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, I had the pleasure to photograph Kara, Justin, and their baby bump at Cala Luna Boutique Hotel and on the beach at Playa Langosta. During the shoot we stopped back at Justin’s parents’ house and I was beyond speechless at the beautiful home that they had built at El Nido. In the quick ten minutes while I was at Casa del Pasillo, I could tell that no detail had been left untouched. I even commented in Kara + Justin’s blog post, “Beautiful only begins to describe this home; I don’t think I would ever leave, except to go surf and watch sunset at the beach – which happens to be a thirty second walk down the path!”
A couple weeks after Justin + Kara’s session, Justin’s mother Kristi contacted me and asked if I could photograph the details at Casa del Pasillo. I was beyond ecstatic, not only to have a very happy mother of a client, but also to be photographing such a beautiful home! From the coat hangers in the shape of tiny hands in Casa del Pasillo’s entryway, the gorgeous tile backsplash in the bar, river rock stones etched with veer quotes from John and Joshua in the gardens, to the stunning, handmade wood furniture by Mu Designs, I could have photographed all day. Seriously, after three hours of photographing every nook and cranny, my brain was on creative overload!
