Tamarindo, Costa Rica Shopping: Buena Nena + Dolores Boutique Lifestyle Photos –
Sometimes living in a tropical beach town you are limited with what you can buy. The nearest mall is four hours away in San Jose and getting something in the mail is really not an option. But if you need to pick up an outfit that is beach appropriate or for a night out on the town, Tamarindo has a couple of good options. Two of my favorite options, Dolores and Buena Nena, happen to be owned by the same awesome creative chica, Caro. She not only sells beautiful clothes in her two stores, but also designs and hand sews one-of-a-kind bags, wristlets, purses, pillows, and beach blankets!!!
So when Caro messaged me and asked if I was available to take lifestyle photos of a couple outfits from her two stores, I was stoked. Add in one of my favorite models, Alejandra, and I knew the shoot was going to be a lot of fun. In two hours, Caro, Ale, and I covered a lot of ground – from the grassy woods on the backside of Tamarindo to the panga boats in Tamarindo’s estuary, and of course the beach! I could not be happier with these photos, the adorable outfits, and of course my awesome model. On top of all that, Caro also asked me to play around with my post processing editing of the photos – oh the options were endless!!
Best part of the shoot??? The amazingly sexy, black lace romper and fringe kimono gifted to me from Buena Nena that I paired with some gorgeous four inch platform booties – let’s just say the heads were turning! VA VA VOOM!
