Tamarindo, Costa Rica –

Woooaaah! October came and is almost gone in a blink of an eye…or should I say in many blinks of several gorgeous sunsets here in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. With a couple new additions to my photographic arsenal, like my Nikon D750 and a circa 1960s 50mm 1.4 lens, chasing sunsets here in Playa Tamarindo has been turned up a notch! Well, actually, Mother Nature gets all the credit for that! One of the many reasons I love rainy season – those beautiful sunsets!

And a second reason being how lush and green everything is:

I swear to you, there are divine things more beautiful than words can tell. – Walt Whitman || I frequently get asked what Costa Rica is like during the rainy season; since I am not shy about expressing myself though my photographs, here is my answer, in all of Mother Nature’s beautiful, lush glory.

What lies ahead I have no way of knowin’, but under my feet baby grass is growin’. It’s time to move on, it’s time to get goin. – Tom Petty

Enjoy these October beauties!
