Tropical Engagement Photos in Tamarindo Costa Rica || Lexi + Steve:
Nine years together and many adventures around the world, in June Steve planned a much closer to home, surprise long weekend trip to California. It was such a surprise that Lexi almost deleted the boarding pass to LAX in her inbox. At first Lexi thought that this could be the trip Steve would (finally!) propose, but they had been dating for nine years so she just went with the flow of the trip. They had a great lunch in Long Beach, and then took a helicopter to Catalina Island. But Steve still didn’t propose. Little did Lexi know, Steve was waiting for the perfect moment and place to ask.
Up on a hill with a beautiful lookout where the couple were staying, Steve knew from the moment he saw the vista that this was the spot. The perfect place to propose to Lexi after nine years of adventures. Lexi was definitely surprised and immediately said yes. And with so many adventures together, it only seemed fitting that the couple get married in their favorite place, Belize. With their wedding planned for next November, Lexi and Steve travelled to Costa Rica last week to explore this beautiful country. They made their way from San Jose to the hot springs in Tabacon and then to the beach in Tamarindo. And on a spur of the moment decision, they decided that Tamarindo would be a great place to do their engagement photos in the tropical gardens of Ocho Artisan Bungalows and on the beach — especially since Lexi and Steve were returning to wintertime in Seattle. The afternoon could not have been more beautiful, with a refreshing breeze, perfect late afternoon golden light, AND the gorgeous sunset.
Congrats you two! It was so beautiful capturing your love for each other!
Pura Vida,
Kristen
