There is just something special about Jersey girls. OK, I may be slightly biased here because I was born and raised in New Jersey, but seriously, Jersey girls are pretty awesome. Especially Brittany, a Jersey girl from Sea Girt, who took a leap of faith and moved to Spartanburg, South Carolina last year to start a new job at Michelin. Little did she know that shortly after her move down South, her stars were going to align and she was going to meet the love of her life, Kyle, a true Southern farmboy. And little did Kyle know that seven months later after meeting Brittany he was going to get married to this Yankee!!!! Or as Brittany likes to say, “He never wanted to get married until he met this Yankee!” It only seems more perfect that Brittany’s maiden name is North, because Kyle #FowlerWentForANorth !!! And let me tell you, this couple was a blast to photograph during their honeymoon at The Westin Playa Conchal Costa Rica.

Almost a week after their small ceremony under the only remaining covered bridge in South Carolina, Campbell’s Covered Bridge (I am swooning right now!), Brittany and Kyle got all dressed up again for some beautiful honeymoon photos on the beach in Playa Conchal. Brittany and Kyle were glowing newlyweds, exchanging intimate kisses and countless laughs. The couple decided to forgo professional wedding photos during their intimate ceremony in the United States, so I was truly honored to capture their love story here in Costa Rica.

To top off their session, Brittany and I had been planning for several months to “trash the dress” at the end of their photo session. So off we ALL went, hopping into the Pacific Ocean at Playa Conchal to “trash” Brittany’s gorgeous wedding dress.
