Five years ago Trixee and Chris met at work. Little did they know then that a work friendship would lead to an engagement and wedding in Trixee’s home island state of Hawaii next year. So with a planned trip to Costa Rica, what better place (besides Hawaii that is!) to do engagement photos for their Hawaii wedding announcement? I know, I know…you can’t go wrong with engagement photos in Playa Guiones Costa Rica orrrrrr in Hawaii!
I met up with Trixee + Chris at Mona Surf Resort in Nosara just as they were fresh off of their road trip up from Santa Teresa…a sketchy river crossing and flat tire included. (We call that the full Costa Rica road trip experience! 🙈) And even though the couple had an adventurous drive, Trixee + Chris were all smiles throughout their engagement photo session, laughing and just radiating with love for each other. Congrats you two!!!

The majority of family vacations in Costa Rica typically are for one week. But, there is so much to do and see in Pura Vidadise that the time goes by so fast. My first week long trip to Costa Rica, I definitely felt like I didn’t have enough time, so my second trip I booked for 10 days. And then my third trip…well I ended up packing up my NYC apartment and hopped a flight to Costa Rica for however long I wanted to!!!

The month of November by far is my favorite month in Costa Rica.
