Michelle’s friend had a feeling. She had a feeling that her friend Michelle would hit it off with her other friend Greg. And their friend was spot on right — Michelle + Greg couldn’t have been a more perfect match. They both love to be outdoors, especially anything that involves the water. And vacations…they call them adventures! Greg knew he had found his best friend – his person, so right before COVID, Greg proposed + Michelle of course said yes. But thanks to COVID, Michelle + Greg were grounded from adventuring to celebrate.
So finally, over a year later, the couple were able to take advantage of a long holiday weekend to Costa Rica to celebrate AND do their engagement photos in Nosara. Michelle + Greg could not have picked a better weekend…they reeled in a 200lb tuna AND Greg was able to take advantage of a beautiful swell, surfing waves in Guiones. And on their last afternoon, the rain stayed away — the weather was just perfect for their engagement photos on the beach in Playa Guiones!
Their relationship with each other truly was beautiful to capture. It warmed my heart to see two people that individually radiate such positivity + have such a beautiful, natural chemistry with each other. 💕 Congrats again Michelle + Greg!

Tamarindo has a special way of bringing people together. Like Laura + Richie, who met each other in this tropical beach town a couple of years ago. I had the pleasure of knowing the two of them before they met each other, and the first time I saw them together, I could feel that they had something special. Fast forward to 2020, with Costa Rica’s borders closed and the whole world on lockdown because of the ‘Rona, COVID brought Laura + Richie even closer together.

The majority of family vacations in Costa Rica typically are for one week. But, there is so much to do and see in Pura Vidadise that the time goes by so fast. My first week long trip to Costa Rica, I definitely felt like I didn’t have enough time, so my second trip I booked for 10 days. And then my third trip…well I ended up packing up my NYC apartment and hopped a flight to Costa Rica for however long I wanted to!!!
