family elopement in tamarindo
costA Rica
Seven years ago Heather and Andrew met. With four girls between them, their lives certainly are busy and full of so much love. As a family, they love traveling to Costa Rica, so while Heather + Andrew started planning their most recent trip to Costa Rica they decided to make the trip extra special + surprise their girls by doing a family elopement! To say that Bailey, Taylor, Lila, and Shea were excited to witness their parents getting married would be an understatement! And the icing on their elopement cake was that the girls were going to officiate their parents’ ceremony!
The Elam’s couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful afternoon for their beach family elopement in Tamarindo. After a sweet ceremony led by the girls, Bailey, Taylor, Lila, and Shea were ready to play + get sandy! From dancing on the sand dunes, piggy back races, and watching one pretty Tamarindo sunset, it was such an honor to capture a special moment from the Elam’s!
Congrats y’all!

Pura Vida,
Kristen

Family Christmas vacation in Playa Potrero Costa Rica || Persinger Family
The Persinger family have been coming to Costa Rica since their oldest daughter, Shea, was a baby. With the years passing by, and several trips to Pura Vidadise, Catharine and Greg, mom and dad, decided to finally do family photos on the beach in Playa Potrero, their favorite place…
Beach Engagement Photos in Playa Langosta || Laura + Richie
Tamarindo has a special way of bringing people together. Like Laura + Richie, who met each other in this tropical beach town a couple of years ago. I had the pleasure of knowing the two of them before they met each other, and the first time I saw them together, I could feel that they had something special. Fast forward to 2020, with Costa Rica’s borders closed and the whole world on lockdown because of the ‘Rona, COVID brought Laura + Richie even closer together.
Playing on the Beach in Tamarindo || Hern Family
The majority of family vacations in Costa Rica typically are for one week. But, there is so much to do and see in Pura Vidadise that the time goes by so fast. My first week long trip to Costa Rica, I definitely felt like I didn’t have enough time, so my second trip I booked for 10 days. And then my third trip…well I ended up packing up my NYC apartment and hopped a flight to Costa Rica for however long I wanted to!!!
