Langosta Beach Club Wedding, Tamarindo, Costa Rica –
Fifteen years ago Jonathan walked into a bar in Newport Beach in Southern California and met a woman that he couldn’t keep his eyes off of. This beautiful gal was Samantha, who just so happened to be on on a pub crawl with her girlfriends. One thing led to another, and in that span of fifteen years, Samantha and Jonathan fell in love, travelled the world, and even started a family, with two beautiful daughters, Brooklyn and Romey.
The one thing left off of this love story was a wedding. Given that Samantha and Jonathan live in oh-so-beautiful area of Orange County in Southern California, the couple had a plethora of choices to have their wedding. But when the couple booked a trip Costa Rica over Thanksgiving with Jonathan’s sister’s family, they decided to do a surprise elopement and have a small wedding with just their family.
Samantha soon contacted Misty from Pura Vida Weddings and Misty started working her magic – an intimate beach ceremony followed by a dinner under the stars at Langosta Beach Club in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, flowers by Floristeria Cristal, and a delicious cake by Victoria Zoch. Samantha and Jonathan kept their elopement secret from Jonathan’s sister until a week before their arrival to the couple’s vacation house in Matapalo – and a surprise it was, filled with so much love and joy!a
Three days before their wedding, rainy season ended with one last downpour and the offshore winds blew in a beautiful, golden afternoon on Samantha and Jonathan’s wedding day. Samantha wore a stunning, white beach dress and her adorable ten month old rocked gold moccasins from Freshly Picked and a Burberry skirt to match her father’s white Burberry polo shirt. The warmth, love, and joy that radiated from this family was so beautiful to photograph. A very special congratulations to Samantha + Jonathan, and their adorable daughters, Brooklyn and Romey!
