Romantic Sunset Beach Proposal in Tamarindo Costa Rica || Anna + Paul:
Escaping the cold winter weather in Toronto, Anna and Paul landed in sunny, tropical Costa Rica just in time to celebrate Paul’s 30th birthday in Pura Vidadise. Anna had been planning their Costa Rica trip for months, except for one part of the trip — a romantic sunset beach proposal in Tamarindo Costa Rica to Anna on his 30th birthday.
Paul had been planning the proposal with me for over a month. We talked about placing a beautiful shell on the beach, which Anna would find and where he’d drop to one knee to ask her to spend forever with him. Months before, he had already custom designed a gorgeous diamond engagement ring. And finally the day came, Paul’s 30th birthday. The couple ventured to Playa Conchal for the day, and then Anna suggested they spend the whole afternoon there, heading back to Tamarindo after sunset. Paul politely, and sweetly said to Anna that he preferred to watch sunset in Tamarindo – – and that was his birthday and he could do whatever he wanted that day, just in case Anna tried to persuade him to stay at Playa Conchal! Thankfully, Anna went along. Little did Anna know what Paul was planning!
The afternoon couldn’t have been more perfect. Tamarindo sunsets are special, and just as the sun was starting to pass over the horizon, Paul dropped to one knee. To say the least, Anna was completely surprised. Surprised that Paul had picked Costa Rica to propose, and even more surprised that he had arranged a photographer to photograph the whole proposal. Congrats you two!
