Almost seven year ago when I first landed in Costa Rica after leaving my NYC corporate job behind, I walked out of the airport and one of the first smiling faces I met was Justin. He just so happened to be chatting with my amigo who was picking me up. Little did I know that years years later, Justin would turn into one of my close surfing buddies. And in those seven years, I’ve seen his beautiful family grow, and most recently in the past year, he became a grandfather x2, with both of his daughters having baby boys within a couple months of each other. Lucky Justin, one of his daughters just so happens to be a photographer, so he has an in house family photographer to capture his beautiful, growing family.

Butttttt when you happen to be the photographer in the family, like Justin’s daughter Ashley, you happen to take all the photos and not be in them! So with Ashley visiting her parents with her husband TJ and their little cutie baby boy Malcolm, I finally had the awesome opportunity to photograph a part of Justin’s beautiful family! Little Malcolm couldn’t be a cuter baby boy…especially with Grandpa Justin making him giggle and smile!!
