Beach Elopement Costa Rica || Erin + Lee:
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. Well y’all, the rain came down — I’m talking about rain so hard you can barely see in front of you, that and some pretty loud thunder — for a whole hour right before Erin + Lee’s elopement ceremony! Then it stopped, almost as if the lucky rain gods knew, because the rain passed over right on time, almost to the minute, for Erin and Lee’s beach elopement in Costa Rica.
Going seven years strong, after one fateful snow storm back in college, two cute dogs and a new house with a Samba to the Sea sunset gallery wall (Erin is definitely , Erin + Lee decided the perfect way to exchange their vows was beach elopement in Tamarindo Costa Rica. (But don’t worry y’all, they are planning one celebratory bash back in the US!) And Having photographed Erin + Lee’s engagement photos at the JW Marriott Guanacaste almost exactly one hear ago, I couldn’t have been more honored that Erin + Lee asked me to be their elopement photographer in Tamarindo!
Photographing these two together is simply a blast – – Lee knows exactly what to say (or do!) to make Erin burst out in laughter. And Erin loves to joke around right back with Lee. Joke around as in, “Oh sorry, that was my hand hitting your face.” – – yes, if you remember from last year’s engagement session, Erin’s hand hitting Lee’s face is definitely a thing for this playful couple! To top off their beach elopement in Tamarindo, with one heck of a dramatic rain storm only minutes before their beach ceremony, y’all know what means – – a recipe for a pretty in pink magical sunset sky! Congrats you two!
