When Kristen first met Darien, it definitely was not love at first sight. In fact, took over a year for them to go from church friends to dating. But on that fateful New Year’s Eve turned into Day, Kristen + Darien decided to give dating a try. And everything was going great, until Covid changed all of our lives. You see, Kristen and Dana only live 10 minutes apart…but one on the American side of Niagara Falls and the other on the Canadian. With the borders closed, Kristen + Darien were tossed a curveball with them not being able to physically see other for months — in other words, they were long distance dating 10 minutes apart from each other 🙈.

So what better way to see physically see each other than to sea the deal and elope to Costa Rica? It was a great plan, until Canada pulled all flights to Costa Rica…right when the couple was planning on eloping. Fast forward 8 months later, an intimate wedding ceremony with Kristen’s family on the American side, Kristen + Darien finally traveled to Costa Rica — this time to honeymoon in Tamarindo. And eight months later, it was such a pleasure their elopement + honeymoon photos on the beach in Costa Rica! The two kept each other laughing the whole session, and I couldn’t help but crack up laughing with them! Congrats you two times two… here’s to a new chapter with a new one on the way (and what a way to surrpise Darien)!
