Hern Family
The majority of family vacations in Costa Rica typically are for one week. But, there is so much to do and see in Pura Vidadise that the time goes by so fast. My first week long trip to Costa Rica, I definitely felt like I didn’t have enough time, so my second trip I booked for 10 days. And then my third trip…well I ended up packing up my NYC apartment and hopped a flight to Costa Rica for however long I wanted to!!!
So when Marjorie emailed me, saying her family was visiting Costa Rica for three weeks, I just knew they were really going to be able to have plenty of time to enjoy their family vacation in Costa Rica! And with six kids ranging in ages 14 to 2, three weeks was perfect for all the Hern kids, Leti, Parker, Will, Graham, Quin, Merrit, to pick their own activities. And on one of their last days of the Hern’s family trip, I had the pleasure to meet the Hern crew and capture their joy, playing on the beach in Tamarindo for their family photos.
Leti and Parker, the oldest, were so sweet and of course helped rounding up their three younger brothers. The boys, Will, Graham, Quin, simply had a blast, from jumping off fences onto the soft sand, climbing driftwood trees, to playing baseball with sticks and coconuts. And little Señorita Merritt? She was a total ham, so full of personality and charm…and smiling for lollipops!
