Savannah Family Photos at The Landings || Whalen Family

First it was Hurricane Mathew two years ago that postponed the Whalen Family’s fall family photos plan. Then Hurricane Irma tried last year, but fortunately the Whalen’s were able to do family photos in Savannah amongst the dreamy Spanish Live Oak trees a couple of weeks after Irma. And then this year another hurricane, Hurricane Michael, really tried to postpone the Whalen’s Savannah family photos at The Landings! Really tried as in Hurricane Michael’s eye was within a couple hundred miles of Savannah and it’s outer bands dumped a good amount of rain only 24 hours before the Whalen’s scheduled session! If I didn’t know any better, I think the Whalen’s and I have a thing for attracting hurricanes when scheduling family photos!Mom and her daughters during family photos in Savannah. Buttttttt, the Whalen’s do have their very own force of nature, their oh-so-adorable pup affectionately named Hurricane Sanibel! Last year Sanibel tried to steal the show with her adorable antics, but this year Sanibel, like Hurricane Michael, did not make an appearance for family photos. And even though Sanibel was truly missed during the session, the Whalen’s sure know how to have a good time even without Sanibel’s antics! There definitely are some HILARIOUS outtake photos that are for private viewing only and as a result did not make this blog post — let’s just say James AKA Mr. Whalen definitely kept us laughing (and eye rolling) practically the whole session!

Pura Vida,
Kristen
