intimate beach wedding in tamarindo

Leah + Vince
Joy. Laughter. And puro amor. These four simple words so beautifully describe Leah + Vince’s relationship. What began as friendship after meeting at a work event several years ago evolved into a close friendship when Leah moved to Atlanta. Soon their friendship bloomed into a romance, Leah understood Vince’s quirks and Vince always had an open ear, helping Leah through some tough times. And when Vince decided he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Leah, it was lucky proposal number two when Leah excitedly said yes (the first time Vince asked Leah in a crowd of 500 people(!!!)) and the second time Vince seranaded Leah with all the things he loved about her on their car ride home from Christmas at Vince’s family last year). As Leah + Vince like to say, #ittakeatwo!
So now that these two finally were engaged, with Vince’s love for surfing, Leah + Vince knew Costa Rica would be the perfect place to get married AND so Vince could surf! And to say the least, just like Leah + Vince, their intimate beach wedding in Tamarindo was nothing short of F U N — fun as in the couple brought a surfboard shaped piñata in one of their suitcases to wack open at their wedding, Leah + Vince surprising their guests with Vince’s groomsmen as their officiants, the men doing an underwear dance with Leah (yes, they took off their pants!), Vince’s stepadad singing Garth Brooks and then the groomsmen Nirvana, to plying catch the wedding cake!!! Seriously, I don’t think I’ve laughed that much while photographing an eight hour wedding before! And as fun as Leah + Vince’s wedding was, it was also a beautiful, intimate celebration of their love with a lot of hand made touches by Leah — from her personalized geode name tags and calligraphy table names, to her wedding vision of a breathtaking Pampas grass alter and tablescapes. It was one heck of a fun, magical wedding Leah + Vince — congrats + I hope to see y’all in Atlanta soon!
