Jamie + Peter
If you’ve ever been to Playa Maderas, Nicaragua, you know that’s it’s a magical + intimate surf destination. I had the pleasure to surf Playa Maderas several years ago, and between falling asleep to the lulling waves at beach front hostel Los Tres Hermanos to surfing super fun waves, it was a long weekend to remember. And one that may have been involved my first time (and only time) hitchhiking…don’t tell my mom, OK???
So when Peter met Jamie, who was doing a girl’s surf camp trip in Playa Maderas, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect to ignite sparks. And that spark that started in Nicaragua ignited to a long distance relationship, and then Jamie moving from South Florida to be with Peter in Houston. A wedding, many adventures, and 7 years later, Jamie + Peter returned to one of their favorite places, Costa Rica, for their babymoon.
With a growing ‘lil bump, Jamie knew Costa Rica would be a perfect place to do beach maternity photos in Playa Grande. The late afternoon couldn’t have been more perfect with the weather, exposed low tide volcanic rocks, lush hillside, an epic golden hour flow, and of course, the natural chemistry between Jamie + Peter.
Congrats you two and I can’t wait to meet your little one your next surf trip to Playa Grande!

Pura Vida,
Kristen
