5 Quick and Easy Photography Tips
- The best time of day to photograph on the beach is in the early morning or late afternoon.
- During the middle of the day when the sun is the strong and the light is intense, photograph in the shade.
- Play with cool shadows!
- Backlight your subject to avoid squinting and uneven shadows falling across faces.
- Make sure the horizon line is straight.

Today is the day,
Because it seems like yesterday you were holding them in your arms, or letting go of their hand as they took their first steps, and reading them a book good night.
If only you could freeze time and stop them from growing up oh-so-fast.
If only you had something to help you savor all of those precious moments.
If only someone else could capture these magic moments so you could be in the photo too.
Like that spantaneous swordfight with your son, your baby girl’s first time at the beach, your son’s coy smile, or the new life gowing within – – your beautiful baby bump.

You’re in the right place.
You can have those moments captured – – those moments that make you and your loved ones unique & one-of-a-kind – – so you can remember them forever.
You can have such beautiful images that I promise you’ll want to make family photos a family ritual, especially because you really enjoyed the experience so much.
And you can have photographs that live somewhere else besides on your iPhone – – images that are so authentically you’re family that you’re so excited to print and create a gallery wall at home.
Yes, today is the day,
